Reflection: This problem intrigues me because it connects math to science. Learning about space and using math to understand how many days it will take for Mars, the Moon, and the Earth to align is very intriguing. The math used to solve this problem isn't too complex, so its a good challenging problem that I always enjoyed. Teachers can use this problem to connect science and math, especially if in science the students are learning about space. The core curriculum works wonders when all the teachers are on the same page and can go off of one another. This helps the students learn better, as well as the teachers.
